What we know about you

Some of what you do here stays on your computer. Some of it travels. This page says which is which — and it can read itself to you.

The first press downloads the voice, about 311 MB, one time. After that it works even with the internet turned off — because the voice is on your computer, not somewhere else.

Almost everything stays where you are. The reading voice, what you type, the questions you ask the AI, and what you make all live on your own computer. Two things cross over: the work a grown-up presses save on, and a small note of which lesson you finished — never the words you wrote.

A grown-up can see the work you save

Your work sits on your computer until a grown-up presses save. After that it is in their account, so they can look at it. That is how it is meant to work — but you should know it, not find it out.

Nobody else sees it unless you both say yes

There is a wall where some work gets shown. Nothing of yours goes there unless you say yes to that one piece and a grown-up says yes too. You can change your mind and it comes down.

Some things we simply do not do

We do not know where you are. We do not show you ads. We do not sell anything about you to anybody. There is no microphone here — this site can talk, but it cannot listen.

What we need, and what you choose

We need this

A grown-up’s email address, so there is an account to put your work in. Which chapters you finished, so the course knows where you are. Without these two there is nothing to log into.

You choose

Saving a piece of work. Asking the AI questions. Putting one piece on the wall. Say no to all three and the whole course still works — you get answers we wrote ourselves instead.

If you want something gone

You can ask us to delete it. You do not have to say why, and we are not allowed to keep it just because we would like to. Ask a grown-up to help you send us a message, or ask them to do it from their account.

We will tell you what happened. If we cannot delete something, we have to tell you that too, and say why.
