Human Before AI

Refunds

Thirty days from the day you are charged. In full. You do not have to give a reason.

Last updated 8 September 2026.

Draft — not yet reviewed

Nothing is for sale yet and there are no accounts, so this page has nothing to govern. It is published early on purpose, so that what we build has to match something already written down. A lawyer has not read it.

The promise

  • Thirty days from the day you are charged, we refund what you paid, in full.
  • You do not have to give a reason, we will not ask you for one, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
  • Gifts are included. Buying the course for someone else does not put you outside this.
  • It is one button in your account, not an email you have to chase. If the button is ever broken, write to us and we will do it by hand.

Why thirty days and not seven

Because this course only shows you what it is over several weeks. It asks an adult for sixty to ninety minutes a week, and the point of it is not visible in the first sitting. A week is long enough to see the first chapter and not long enough to see whether the thinking is landing.

There is no free trial, so the refund is the trial — and a trial that expires before you have used the thing is not one. Thirty days is deliberately longer than the product’s own weekly rhythm, so you are judging the course rather than judging one bad Saturday.

Both plans renew, and so does the window

The monthly plan charges every month. The six-month plan charges every six months. Each of those charges gets its own thirty days — not just the first one. A renewal you did not want is refundable on exactly the same terms as the day you joined.

We email you before every renewal, and cancelling is one button. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not ask for a reason and it does not take effect at some later date of our choosing.

What happens to your child's work

A refund does not delete anything. Ending the money and ending the account are separate acts, and we do not do the second one on your behalf.

What your child has made stays in your account, and export and delete stay available to you. If you want it gone as well, delete the account — that is also one button, and it takes the work with it.

If you were given it

The refund belongs to the person who paid, because they are the one who was charged. If someone bought the course for your family, they are the one who can ask for the money back.

  • If the code has not been used, the refund is simply a refund. Nothing has been set up and nothing is lost.
  • If the code has been used, refunding it ends the access it paid for. We will tell the family before that happens rather than after.
  • The person who paid still learns nothing about the child, before or after. That does not change because money moved back.

An unused code stays valid for twelve months. After that it lapses — write to us if that happens and we will sort it out rather than keep the money quietly.

If we fail to deliver

If a season does not open, or the course is materially not what this site described, the thirty days is not the limit — write to us whenever you notice. Nothing on this page is meant to be read as a deadline for us failing to do our part.

What this does not cover

  • A device that cannot run the AI is not a failure to deliver — but it is still refundable, because it is refundable for any reason at all. Every activity can be completed without the AI, and the site says which devices it needs before you buy.
  • We do not refund because a child did not enjoy it after the thirty days. That is not us being strict; it is what a window is.

Your rights are not limited by this page

Nothing here takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under the consumer law where you live. Those rights sit on top of this promise and we cannot contract out of them. If this page is ever narrower than the law, the law wins.

Asking

Use the button in your account. If you cannot reach it, write to [email protected] and one person will answer you.

Nothing is for sale yet, so there is nothing to refund today. This page exists first so that what we build has to match it.
